Five die in Niger State road accident

Five people were feared dead in an accident that happened at the early hour of 7am on Thursday along Lambata- Kwakuti in Niger state

The five were said to have died on the spot while three others were rushed to the nearest hospital by officers of Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC). According to an eye witness, the accident happened as a result of over speeding and lost of control between two commercial vehicles, a Golf 3 with number plate KTU 506BK and a salon Mazda 326. The heavy downpour of rain also added to worsen the situation. The three survivors are undergoing treatments at the hospital in the state.
